The Conversation After Blueprint

That was a glimpse into the conversation at Blueprint Vegas this year.

On stage and off, the energy was electric. The industry isn't just looking for the next shiny object; it's looking for real answers to the foundational problems that slow projects down, blow budgets, and compromise great design.

In the clip above, our CEO Maor Greenberg had the opportunity to dive into these challenges as part of the panel, "The Next Generation of Pre-Development Tech." Alongside fellow innovators Kimberly Burnett of Ivory Innovations, Carter Malloy of Acres, and Sean Roberts of Villa, the discussion was a deep dive into the real solutions shaping our industry.

But the most valuable conversations often happen in the hallways. It was great connecting with fellow innovators and partners, from founders like Carter Malloy and the team at Acres who are on the front lines of tackling land data, to community builders like Jonathan 'Yoni' Frenkel of RE Angels who is fostering the next generation of proptech. These conversations confirmed what we believe: the future of building will be defined by the community that comes together to solve its toughest challenges.

The panel discussion provided a great framework for these conversations. Here are the core themes Maor broke down.

The Spacial Workflow

A recurring question we get is, "How does it actually work?" The answer is rooted in flexibility and depth. There are three primary ways to work with us: you can email us your plans the traditional way, upload a PDF to our platform for conversion into a 3D model, or use a plug-in we developed for Autocad and Revit. We designed it this way because our platform should live within the workflow of the architects and designers we serve, not the other way around.

The real power, however, is in our knowledge base. We’ve built an entire database of building codes for California, Texas, Florida, and New York, covering every department from planning to public works to fire. This allows us to do more than just a simple automated check. While other companies might run 200 checks, we target every aspect of the project to ensure plans are validated from all angles.

Your Greatest Asset: Time

When asked where Spacial creates the most value, the answer is simple: time. As Maor explained, time is the single greatest asset in any project. Whether it’s time spent finding land, navigating the permit approval process, or the physical act of building, every delay is a direct hit to the bottom line.

The single biggest time waster? Rework. Maor noted, "the amount of waste and the time spent on rework, it's crazy." The solution is to create a more accurate and simple set of plans from the very beginning. Plans that a builder can easily understand and execute on, reducing time and eliminating the waste that holds so many projects back.

The conversations at Blueprint made it clear. The industry is ready for a new standard. One that values time, protects design, and is built for the real world. We left Las Vegas more energized than ever to continue building it.
