What You'll Do

• Own major product initiatives across the plan to permit lifecycle, including drafting, engineering, compliance, review, submission, and revisions, from discovery through launch

• Define and execute product strategy for key areas of the platform, translating company goals into clear roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes

• Partner deeply with engineering teams to deliver automation features, human in the loop workflows, quality validation systems, and scalable review and approval loops

• Build high trust experiences that balance speed with correctness, ensuring outputs are auditable, explainable, and meet the standards required for permitting

• Improve code compliance and permit readiness workflows, including local code validation, municipality requirements, revision iteration, and approvals

• Drive customer outcomes and adoption, collaborating with Sales and Customer Success to identify bottlenecks, remove product friction, and improve retention and expansion

• Use data and qualitative insights to guide decisions, defining KPIs such as time to permit, approval rate, revision cycles, plan quality, and cost savings

• Stay close to the customer, regularly interviewing architects, builders, engineers, and internal stakeholders to validate needs and test solutions

What You Bring

• Five or more years of product management experience, with a strong track record of shipping products end to end in fast moving environments

• Proven ability to translate complex workflows into simple, scalable product experiences

• Experience partnering closely with technical teams, ideally including ML or AI systems, automation, or human in the loop workflows

• Strong judgment and intuition for quality, trust, and correctness, especially for products where outputs have meaningful real world consequences

• Excellent communication and execution skills, with the ability to align cross functional teams, clarify ambiguity, and drive decisions quickly

• Strong customer empathy and an ability to synthesize insights into high leverage product requirements and prioritization

• Experience building products for professional users where speed, accuracy, and auditability are critical

Nice to haves

• Experience in construction tech, architecture and engineering workflows, CAD or BIM tooling, compliance heavy industries, or B2B workflow software

• Familiarity with permitting processes, code validation, or working with regulatory and public sector stakeholders

• Understanding of structural engineering methods, architectural drawings and construction plan sets

• Experience translating requirements into well defined rulesets for AI and automation
